Although the movie is not perfect it has some issues, these being an unentertaining climax, a weak performance from "Keanu Reeves" and a weak death. If you are a person who enjoys 1990's Action movies then I recommend you watch "Point Break" as it has a great plot, thrilling scenes mixed with amazing music. The late "Donald Peterman" filmed "Point Break" exceptionally using no close ups or shaking the camera. In past "Mark Isham" has created thrilling and exciting music for his films and "Point Break" is no exception. It doesn't feel like "Keanu Reeves" is truly giving one hundred percent to his role as "Utah". "Keanu Reeves" isn't one of "Hollywood's" best actors in fact he receives a lot of hate for this. The film's climax is actually disappointing as it is unentertaining due to the unsatisfactory justice of the antagonist. The action sequences are extremely entertaining to watch, they make it look like "Utah"" is truly about to get hurt. Throughout the movie it shows "Utah" and "Pappas" busting big criminals. This is a great opening to the film as it shows what the movie is about. True, the Kathryn Bigelow-directed original cannot age as poorly as its 2015 remake, which was born stale. As with many surfers passing their peak, it’s still acting the teenager, more ludicrous with each year.
